We watched when children stopped smiling, or when boys were forced to take up arms to defend their women folk. . . Yaa Allah, we watched and ignored. How will we answer to you on Qiyamah? Will you forgive us?
Was your Mom mean? I know mine was. We had the meanest mother in the whole world! While other kids ate candy for breakfast, we had to have cereal, eggs, and toast. None of us have ever been caught shoplifting, vandalizing other's property or ever arrested for any crime. It was all her fault. We never got drunk, took up smoking, stayed out all night, or a million other things other kids did.
What happened to the ummah once known so well? Our greatness was known, but now can you tell? The Quran has left our hearts and is stranded hanging on our walls.
In his opening address to his evil servants, the Satan said, "We can't keep the Muslims from going to Mosque. We can't keep them from reading the Quran and knowing the truth. So let them go to the mosques, let them have their conservative lifestyles, but steal their time, so they can't gain that relationship with Allah."
O Mankind! What seduces us from Allah Most Gracious? A love of this life, of wealth and of easiness? Turn to your Maker, vast is His Kingdom, believe in the truth and secure your fate.
can only break down and cry, I am drifting. All the waste, all the weeping - to Islam I flee, the only path to salvation! May Allah forgive me.
I seek refuge in You O Allah! From a heart that is complacent and from a mood that is not patient, I seek refuge in You O Allah!
What If, ALLAH couldn't take the time to bless us today because we couldn't take the time to thank Him yesterday?
Then He (God) asked, "If you were physically handicapped, would you still love me?" I was perplexed. I looked down upon my arms, legs and the rest of my body and wondered how many things I wouldn't be able to do, the things I took for granted.
Hijab, a covering that implies inner and outer modesty. It is quite impossible to see the inside when one observe the outside. Hijab is not some kind of culture or racial identity, rather it is the identity required by Allah.
Do we live for death or do we die for life? Do we obey disobedience or do we disobey obedience?
Suppose you learn today that you have only one more day to live, how will you spend your last day? Have you prepared for the journey into eternity? How about making the concern for the Hereafter the cornerstone of our lives here?
If you want to be with the ones you love, you must be ready to give up everything, even life itself. And then, by Allah, you will win your heart's desire.
There would have been more "I love you's".. more "I'm sorrys"... but mostly, given another shot at life, I would seize every minute
Lord of the Universe, who is One, He made the earth, stars, and sun. . .
Always be positive and forget about the bad things or events of the past and think of good things, always having hope that it can be better. Trying to change the past is a foolish and crazy waste of time, because. . .
Imam All (a.s.) was reminding us that when we help others, it is Allah (S.W.T.) who gives us the ability to do so and thus we should be generous.
Allah (S.W.T.) revealed Surah al-Kawthar, in which He promised the Prophet (s.a.w.w.) that he would be blessed with a large family. Today, the world is filled with the descendants of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.w.) through Bibi Fatimah (a.s.), and sheds respected by all people!

I know that after my death you will cry over me but in my life you didn't even look at me!
Why did you move your robe? Were you afraid you would catch some of his poverty or that some of your wealth would go to him? O Prophet, I am sorry for my action and want to offer this man half of my wealth.
