Fatima Is Fatima

The Prophet of God had not offered pilgrimage after his emigration to Medina. All of a sudden the good news spread that the Messenger of God was preceeding towards the sacred city of Mecca. The trustee of the words of God conveyed the divine proclamation and the Holy Prophet entrusted all his energies for its proper execution and accomplishment. The possessor of unique distinction of 'notspeaking out of personal desire' gracefully ascended the pulpit, glanced at the anxious crowd and started his speech cast in the mould of revelation:-"All praise is for God, We seek only His help.We have Faith in Him..."
The Sermon of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH&HF) at Ghadir Khum
Seventy days before his demise, when Prophet Muhammad (PBUH&HF) was returning to Medina after his last pilgrimage to Mecca, he reached the pond of Khum (Ghadir Khum) near Juhfa. By the order of Allah, the Prophet (PBUH&HF) stopped at the pond of Khum, gathered the crowd of pilgrims, and delivered his last universal speech. "...Certainly, I just conveyed what I have been ordered to convey as an argument against everyone, be him present or absent, a direct witness or not, and already born or not yet born. Hence, everyone who is present should convey (this sermon) to those who are absent, every parent should convey it to his/her children, (and they should continue to do so) until the Day of Judgement. . ."
An Everlasting Instruction - Imam al-Husayn's ('a) Journey to Makka
In coming to Makka for Hajj we should not think that after performing the overt rites of Hajj we are absolved from our duties. Hajj is more then merely an individual worship.

Karbala', an Enduring Paradigm of Islamic Revivalism
The martyrdom of Imam Husayn ibn 'Ali ('a) and his companions in Karbala' proved to be the beginning of the downfall of the Banu Umayyah dynasty which had usurped the Islamic khilafah by deceit, repression, and corruption of the Muslim community. The episode of Karbala' became the everlasting stage on which, more than anything else, the great spirit of an Imam of the Ahl al-Bayt was put for eternal display.
Maqtal al-Husayn
It was in Karbala' that the event made perpetual by history took place; the event which terminated the life of the great Imam, the grandson of the Holy Prophet (S) and the lord of the martyrs, Abu 'Abdillah al-Husayn (as).
This tragic event that took place in 61 H, similar to the narrations of the battles in the early period of Islam, was passed from mouth to mouth from those who had either witnessed the battle itself, or the events before or after it.
